The Fit Tight Covers design process is totally flexible, able to create custom covers according to any specification, design requirement, or unusual environment. Below are some of our common specs. If you have any questions or would like data sheets, please give us a call at 812-492-3370.

350 Degrees and Below

Operating at 0°F to 350°F

  • Jacket: 17oz Silicone Impregnated Fiberglass Fabric
  • Liner: 17oz Silicone Impregnated Fiberglass Fabric
  • Insulation: 1″ Type E Glass Mat
  • Fastening: 2″ Nomex Velcro
  • Fastening: 1″ Straps and Stainless Steel D-Rings
  • Fastening: 3/16″ Braided Kevlar Drawstrings
  • Fastening: 12ga Stainless Steel Lace Hooks and Quilt Pins
  • Thread: Kevlar/Stainless Steel Thread

351 to 450 Degrees

Operating at 351°F to 450°F

  • Jacket: 17oz Silicone Impregnated Fiberglass Fabric
  • Liner: 17oz Silicone Impregnated Fiberglass Fabric
  • Insulation: 2″ Type E Glass Mat
  • Fastening: 2″ Nomex Velcro

  • Insulation: 2″ Type E Glass Mat

  • Fastening: 3/16″ Braided Kevlar Drawstrings

651 Degrees and Above

Operating at 651°F and up

  • Jacket: Flat.011 Stainless Steel Mesh
  • Jacket: 17oz Silicone Impregnated Fiberglass Fabric
  • Liner: 18oz Silica Fabric
  • Liner: Crimped .011 Stainless Steel Mesh
  • Insulation: 3″ Type E Glass Mat
  • Fastening: 2″ Nomex Velcro
  • Fastening: 1″ Straps and Stainless Steel D-Rings
  • Fastening: 3/16″ Braided Kevlar Drawstrings
